Two people have been charged with manslaughter after a man was killed in southwest Calgary earlier this week.
Police were called to a home along 38 Street SW in the community of Rosscarrock around 10:50 p.m. on Wednesday.
Officers arrived to find a man suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to hospital where he later died.
An autopsy confirmed the man’s death was a homicide. He has been identified as 23-year-old Jaden River Big Sorrel Horse.
Two people who were arrested at the scene have now been charged. Police previously said they believed the victim and the two accused knew each other.
Annata’Ksisstsi’Kommaokii De’Channa Hope Smith, also known as Dechanna Wells, 22, and Naatoyikakatosina TaCheáh Heaven Wells, also known as Techeah Wells, 23, have both been charged with manslaughter. They are scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday.
