Celebrate New Year’s Eve with free, family-friendly fun at Eau Claire Plaza and Prince’s Island Park starting at 8 p.m. on Dec. 31, 2025. Enjoy interactive activities, live entertainment, local food trucks and a skating and dance party with a live DJ.
As the clock strikes midnight, a dazzling fireworks show will launch from Prince’s Island Park, perfectly timed to music on CJSW 90.9FM. The fireworks show can be enjoyed from both celebration sites or watched from home via the livestream at calgary.ca/NYE.
“On New Year’s Eve, I welcome all Calgarians to celebrate each other and all our achievements as a city,” said Mayor Jeromy Farkas. “Whether you’re skating, dancing or enjoying the fireworks with family and friends, this is our chance to greet 2026 with joy, gratitude and a sense of community.”
