The City of Calgary is proud to announce a new 10-year naming sponsorship agreement with MaxWell Realty that will officially rename the Calgary Soccer Centre to the MaxWell Soccer Centre. This exciting announcement reflects a shared commitment to active living, community connection and long-term investment in one of Calgary’s most vibrant recreation hubs.

This sponsorship will directly support the day-to-day operations and investments that will contribute to the long-term sustainability of the facility for years to come. The MaxWell Soccer Centre will remain a vibrant gathering place for programs, leagues and local events, encouraging healthy, active lifestyles close to home.

“We’re proud to work with organizations who care about Calgary,” shares Jarret Hoebers, Manager of Recreation Service Delivery at The City of Calgary. “By working together, we’re investing not only in recreation infrastructure but in the spirit of community itself, ensuring this hub continues to strengthen social connections, support active living and add to the vibrancy of our city.”

While the name is changing, the experience remains the same. The MaxWell Soccer Centre remains open and accessible to the public with no changes to programs and services, just renewed investment and energy to keep it thriving.

“At MaxWell Realty, we understand that a home is more than four walls, its where people feel connected, supported and inspired. That same spirit lives at the MaxWell Soccer Centre, where thousands of families, friends and neighbours come together every year,” explains Bill Tarrabain, President of MaxWell Realty. “Working alongside The City of Calgary allows us to invest in a place that builds community in the same way we strive to build trust with our clients, through honesty, integrity and genuine care. Together, we are ensuring this vibrant hub continues to be a place where people belong and where community spirit thrives.”

Through GamePLAN, The City’s 25-year strategic plan for recreation, we are investing in spaces that ensure every Calgarian has a place to play, practice and compete for generations to come. Every investment we make in recreation is an investment in our customers, our economy and our future.

“Recreation is at the heart of strong communities,” highlights Hoebers. “The MaxWell Soccer Centre is more than a facility. It’s a gathering place where people of all ages and abilities come together to play, connect and grow.”
