A body has been found in Calgary’s Bow River Tuesday afternoon.
Calgary police say the discovery happened around 12:30 p.m.
The body was found along the bank between the Centre Street Bridge and the 4 Avenue Flyover, on the north side of the river.
The Calgary Fire Department has been called to the scene for assistance.
No other information is available at this time.
This is the second such occurrence in less than a week.
On March 6, emergency crews recovered a body just upstream from the Peace Bridge; that case is not considered suspicious.
This is a developing story.
