Alberta RCMP say they are still looking for the remains of Braylee Beasley, who has been missing since her mother, Ayla Egotik-Learn’s, death around Dec. 5, 2025.
The body of Egotik-Learn was found toward the end of January, which police initially believed was around eight weeks after she died; however, RCMP has since clarified that Egotik-Learn and her baby died in September 2025.
Police said in January that early in the investigation, they learned Egotik-Learn’s infant daughter, Braylee Beasley, was missing.
Two months later, RCMP believe that the infant’s remains may have been placed in a waste disposal bin in the area of Sturgeon Point Villas Apartments sometime between mid-September and mid-November 2025, specifically, the waste disposal bin outside Door 11.

As their investigation continues, police are trying to narrow down a potential time frame that the infant’s remains may have been left in a waste disposal bin, and are looking to speak to anyone who may have deposited any large bedroom furniture in the bin during the timeframe above.
