Calgary police are asking for the public’s help to locate a man wanted in connection with several overnight break-ins.

Investigators say the incidents happened in the early morning hours of May 1 in the two southeast communities of Maple Ridge and Willow Park.

Around 1:30 a.m., a man was captured on a security camera leaving a home on Maple Grove Place SE with electronics after previously entering the residence.

At about 3:22 a.m., the same suspect is believed to have broken into a utility trailer on Willowgreen Drive SE, stealing sporting equipment and unopened oil containers.

Then around 5 a.m., the suspect reportedly entered a parked white 2012 Jeep Wrangler on Maplecreek Drive SE. Police say nothing was taken from the vehicle.

After reviewing security footage, police identified the suspect as 32‑year‑old Dylan Joseph Durant. He is wanted on warrants for one count of break and enter with intent, two counts of break and enter to commit, and six counts of failing to comply with a release order.

Durant is described as 5’7”, about 160 pounds, with a slim build. He is nearly bald with short brown hair.

Anyone with information about Durant’s whereabouts is asked to call police at 403‑266‑1234. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers.
