Police are investigating after they were called to three robberies in just over two hours in Calgary on Monday.
Calgary police were called to a gas station near 4 Street and 68 Avenue NW around 10:45 a.m. for reports of an armed robbery.
The suspect reportedly left in a black SUV before officers arrived. He is described as man in his 40s, 5’2″ tall with a heavy build, last seen wearing black pants, a grey and black hoodie, and a mask.
Around 12:30 p.m., police were called to a bank near Falconridge Blvd and Falconridge Drive NE for reports of another robbery.
The suspect again left the area before officers arrived. He is described as man in his 40s, 6’0″ tall with a medium build, last seen wearing a hoodie and a mask.
About 30 minutes later, police were called to a bank on Saddletowne Circle NE for reports of a third robbery.
The suspect in this case is described as a man between the ages of 30 and 50, 6’0″ tall with a medium build, last seen wearing black clothing and a mask.
He allegedly left the area in a black SUV.
Police say they are working to determine if any of the robberies are connected.
The investigation is ongoing.
